1 7/8 yards of genuine Flannelsuede from Robert Allen in color Abalone. Width is 57". Flannelsuede is a high end suede reminiscent of a fine wool flannel. It is very expensive at the retail level and usually sells for 125.00 per yard and up. I received these remnants from a high end furniture manufacturer and am selling them at bargain prices. Flannelsuede-engineered with a unique blend of recycled microfibers, the result is a soft and durable sophisticated heathered textile, reminiscent of a fine wool flannel. Flannelsuede shares the high-performance features of Sensuede and is suited to all applications. Flannelsuede meets American Contract Textile (ACT) specifications for heavy-duty use and is Oeko-Tex certified.
Flannelsuede is water, stain and soil resistant. Most spills simply bead up on the surface and can be blotted off, or spot cleaned with a damp cloth or soap and water -- even ground-in chocolate cake comes right out! Flannelsuede can also be machine washed or dry-cleaned. Flannelsuede is resistant to mildew and is not attractive to moths.
Sensuede and Flannelsuede surpass the heavy-duty upholstery abrasion test -- that's more than 75,000 double rubs! So it's perfect for everyday use. Unlike less expensive imitations, the strength of Sensuede is inherent in the product, so it does not require a backing. Some faux suedes may lose resiliency over time, but Sensuede will remain beautiful through years of use. Sensuede will not shrink, pill or crock and resists fading in normal residential settings.
